Nonku Nyathi.

Investment Associate

Nonku is an Investment Associate at Innovation Edge and is responsible for supporting a number of current and pending investment cases within the investment pipeline.

She holds a Bachelors degree in Human Life Science, an Honours in Physiology, an MPhil in Health Innovation and Design, and a postgraduate diploma in HIV Management.

Prior to Innovation Edge, she worked for an NGO specializing in health systems strengthening, giving her the opportunity to explore issues relating to maternal and child healthcare in various parts of Southern and Eastern Africa. She also assisted with the early stages of the development of a social impact bond for adolescent girls and young women with the South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC). 

Her passion for healthcare, innovation and design thinking in the African context has led her to Innovation Edge, where she hopes to apply her ambition, focus and critical thinking skills to the implementation and scaling of products and services that will have a long-lasting, positive and enriching impact on the lives of others, both locally and globally.
