Shikha Goyal is a Venture Partner at Imaginable Futures and she leads the strategy and investments portfolios across Africa. Shikha has worked across the development and private sector over the last 18 years.

Before joining Imaginable Future’s in 2016, Shikha was a manager in the education team at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF). In her 5 years at CIFF, Shikha helped shape the development of the education sector strategy and was responsible for identifying, developing and managing programmes to improve basic literacy and numeracy for children in India and sub-Saharan Africa. She managed a portfolio of over $50m including CIFF’s investment in Sesame Street’s Galli Galli Sim Sim in India, world’s first education development impact bond, Tayari – a low cost early childhood education model across 1,500 schools in Kenya and, a partnership with the World Bank focussing on early childhood education programmes across Africa.

Shikha holds a bachelors degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Thapar Institute India and an MBA from INSEAD France.
